Student success

Training is about more than logging hours.

It is about helping you become a safe, capable, confident pilot. You will work with the same instructor, receive focused feedback after each lesson, and always know what comes next.

That consistency can reduce repeated lessons, support better progress, and make training feel more personal than a large-school experience.

Meet your instructor

Hi, I’m Kaden Hottel.

I’m a Certified Flight Instructor and the founder of Hottel Flying Co. I started this business to give students in East Idaho and Northern Utah a more personal way to learn to fly—one built around clear instruction, steady progress, and a strong foundation in safety.

I enjoy helping new pilots move from their first lesson to major milestones such as their first solo, private pilot certificate, instrument rating, and commercial training. My goal is to make every lesson organized and useful, so you understand what you are learning, why it matters, and what comes next.
